I have too many boxes, mostly filled with letters and photographs so that I have things to look at on rainy days. Today was the opposite of rainy, so I moved my couch onto the lawn so I could read and nap. I felt like a cat in the sun, lazy down to my bones.

I stumbled into a children's shop of little treasures the other day, including these little wooden animals. At this very moment, the horse is sailing across the seas in a little brown package, covered in paper using my terrible wrapping skills.
Spring is finally in the air as people are sneezing and masses of colour from blooming flowers seem to be popping up everywhere I go. I can't wait for the sun again, bare feet, shedding layers, miniature food picnics (tiny bite-size pieces of sushi and sandwiches cut into little squares), long drives to the mountains and quiet afternoons.

I seem to get the impression that many people either hate or love the films of Sofia Coppola. I've heard many criticisms that her films are more style than substance however I don't entirely agree. Personally, I enjoy the visual aspects of her film making and her subtle potrayals of young women (and pretty pastel cakes). She also has a wonderful ability to create certain moods within her films.

How To Fly
1) Make sure that your mind is not clogged with heavy burdens such as: resentment, anger, secrets and the past. They can be heavy.
2) Make sure that your body is not clogged with excess fat and excrements.
3) Make sure that your wings are light and free. This is the most difficult proposition. Your wings cannot be free unless the whole world is free, because you are a part of the world.
4) However, there is a way for the whole world to be free. Just like your body, all it needs is to be unclogged and have good circulation. Circulation is the secret to freedom and the key to fly.
5) When the whole world is in good circulation we will all fly together.
6) Meanwhile, give wings to things around you so they will circulate.
