The film festival is in town which means I've been spending alot of time in darkened rooms, staring at a screen. This year's special guest is Anna Karina who I was lucky enough to hear speak about some of her films. She still manages to stand out in a crowd in her bright red coat and juanty black hat.

Blooms
This weekend went so quickly with the film festival, breakfast in the park and new boots. How was yours? I guess Spring must be coming; snowdrops, daffodils and cherry blossoms everywhere I go. It's still cold enough for jumpers and hot tea, so I'm making the most of it.

Butterbeer and Broomsticks
Went to see the new Harry Potter movie last night (sorry if you're tired of hearing about it!). I think it's one of the best so far, and very funny in parts. Either way, it was great to escape into another world for a little while.

Scavenger
I seem to be coming down with a cold today and feel rather tired, blame it on the weather. This week I've been taking lots of walks in the park near my house and returning with some tiny things. Sort of reminds me of the scavenger hunts I used to go on in primary school where we could come back with dirt on our hands, daisy chains and tree rubbings. I miss those days.

Apartamento
Some pictures from the new Apartamento magazine that I found in Borders. One of the best things about this magazine is that everything feels so natural and 'everyday'. I enjoyed the article dedicated to one woman's house plants and also the idea of the Bless Windowgarden.

Tim Walker
I recently ordered a copy of the beautiful book 'Pictures' by Tim Walker. I didn't realise just how huge it was until it arrived on my doorstep in a giant delivery bag that looked like it could fit a few people inside. The book itself is full of imagination and colour and I especially like the scrap book pages and some of the earlier photographs. Here are two great pictures I hadn't seen before.
