Set in the gardens of Alnwick Castle is one of the largest wooden treehouses in the world. Built around 16 mature lime trees, Alnwick Treehouse consists of a complex of turreted cottages linked by suspended walkways. It sounds amazing! I wish I could visit. Not to mention there's a castle nearby too.
Here are some photographs I found on Flickr:

Oh gorgeous! I always wanted a treehouse when I was little. Unfortunately when you live in an apartment this isn't possible :)
it's almost ironic.. think of all those trees cute down to make a tree house.
although, it would be fun to play in.
oh wow, amazing! I wanna go there too.
mila: glad you like it!! :)
pescos: super hero giveaway? sounds interesting...i've always wanted some super power!
danica: yes, i always wanted to have one when i was little too, so i used to climb trees as a substitue! xx
young mind: yes, i was thinking that too. but it kind of blends back in nicely....
maria: lets! :) :)
I just this minute discovered your blog & saw the gorgeous pictures of the Treehouse. I live close by and have been a few times and for lunch in the Treehouse. The Castle is where they filmed some Harry Potter scenes and they have a Poison Garden in the grounds, so you can see lots of illegal plants.
