One of my favourite people on flickr is Jessica Williams. She manages to capture everyday moments in a special way, even if it's just a ray of light coming in through a window.

So I'm tired again after a rather long week, and dreaming of freshly laundered sheets and deep sleeps (and never having to look at another textbook again!). Things that have kept me going this week include banana muffins hot out of the oven, bubble tea, discovering perfect summer dresses among stacks of old clothes, listening to Fleet Foxes and Seabear late at night, watching too many movies, fluffy culumus clouds and travel plans despite lack of funds and time...

Interiors 2.
Another one of my favourites from the Interiors section, this home belongs to photographers Karen Inderbitzen-Waller and Christopher Abbott. It looks like the perfect cosy place to have an afternoon cup of tea and makes me feel better about my own hoarding tendencies.

I've recently discovered the inspiring work of New York artist Fanny Bostrom who (if I'm not mistaken) has also illustrated for everyone's favourite magazine Lula! See more here. She also has a wonderful, quirky blog so go have a gander!October 8, 2008
The Secret Garden

There was so much I loved about this film when I was young (not to mention the book), and after rewatching it recently it's nice to know some things don't change. I used to wish for a secret garden with baby lambs and wild moors, trees to climb and treasures hidden in locked drawers and of course, a boy with a white pony. What were your favourite films when you were little?

Woods Part I.

I went exploring in the mountains the other day with my dad's old film camera and a chicken and cheese sandwich and two chocolate mint biscuits. It was one of those days when you should be doing about a million other things but you ignore them all to walk through a field knee-deep with Spring flowers, the pollen tickling at your nose and the sunlight turning the leaves into little pieces of translucent green cellophane.

The apartment of film producer, Caroline Barry, from an old copy of Russh magazine. Everything feels so warm, yet natural and light. I have a couple more Russh interior articles that I will share with you soon, if only I had more time on my hands to wrestle with my scanner!
Apologies for the blurred edges and general shoddiness of the full page scans.
